If you're among the few who have had concerns about the link and menu rollover sound effects or the page flipping sound effects, then there is no longer any concern for you. EditionDuo has added a new feature to the Issue Settings allowing you to forever disable the chiming and page turning audio clips. To access this new feature, login into the dashboard, click on “Edit Issue Settings” and select the checkbox under “Issue Options.” If you want to disable the digital edition sound effects permanently, then make sure to check the "Save these settings as the default for this publication"...

Although not a frequent request, we felt we had enough interest to go ahead and build in a "Disable Page Animation" feature. This feature will replace the page flipping transition when navigating between spreads with an instant loading of the next or previous spread. There will still be a page flipping animation in the corners for readers to navigate, just no page turning animation. To access this new feature, login into the dashboard, click on "Edit Issue Settings" and select the appropriate checkbox under "Issue Options."

Recently, we added a short loading screen to the EditionDuo digital editions to help optimize the performance and loading of your digital editions. To prove it, all EditionDuo digital editions that were placed online after October 15th, 2008 are now iPhone and iPod Touch compatible. The best part is that you don't have to do anything special with your flipping icon code or your direct URLs. One of the biggest EditionDuo feature requests we've had is finally here. Publishers can now insert their belly-bands, bind-ins, blow-ins, tip-ins, inserts and business-reply-cards! Not only that, but we can change the name of the pages in the page number list and name the insert whatever you like.
