Okay, so this feature isn't exactly "new" but every time it's mentioned, we're met with a "Really, you can do that!?" And the answer is "Yes, yes we can." If you visit the "Flipping Code" section of the dashboard, you'll find a little button in the middle of the page labelled "Archive Configurator". That link takes you to an area where you can configure a slideshow or static digital edition archive that you can use on your website. Just like the flipping icon, we provide you with iFrame code that you can copy-and-paste into any HTML block on your website and your done! After that, every tim...

We love it when you like what we do! Last week, we were sent a link to this blog post where a reader gave our iPhone digital publications a glowing review. The bloggers review and accompanying video features Oxford American, a recent member of the BlueToad and associates family of digital edition publishing. If you'd like to get a better idea of what readers think about iPhone compatible digital editions and how the digital editions look, feel and function, then...
Connect—share—spread. But to where? Not all social networks and social bookmark sites are conducive channels for spreading your message. And with this, many of you have asked for the ability to control which networks your readers can share content with. So now you can. Under your "Issue Settings" you can now edit your Social Networks option, turn this feature on or off or simply select which networks to allow. And while we were modifying the Social Networks, we decided to go ahead and build an "Edit the Share with a Friend Email" option, too!
Flipping icon and direct URLs not enough? No problem. We've added a new option for linking your website to your digital edition. The "Cover Thumbnail" option simply adds an image of your cover to your website that links to your digital edition. The best part, this is an automatic process. If you use this linking option then each month when you activate your latest issue, the cover image on your website will automatically update and link to the current issue. Click here for help on setting up your Cover Thumbnail link.
EditionDuo has a new website (www.editionduo.com)! It's been many months in the making and amidst our rapid growth, we've finally updated, improved and web 2.0-ified our site. We owe most of our thanks to www.sprocketcreative.com who did a tremendous job at keeping up with our needs and managing the site launch. And along with our new site, we've added more content, more information, a blog and most importantly — lowered the price...
Spread the word! Your digital edition is social network friendly and you can easily create links to your digital publications from your favorite social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Digg, and more. Engaging your readers is much easier to do when they know what your publication is about. And aside from encouraging your readers to share and social bookmark pages and articles, actively integrating digital editions into an existing social media strategy will offer visitors both new and old, quick access to your brand and will help increase reader interest and grow online cir...
You've asked and here it is. We've now added a "Display Archive on Subscription" function to the Issue Settings. This will disable the Archive button in the toolbar until a user registers or subscribes to your publication. Once they've subscribed, the Archive button will function as normal. This prevents users from jumping around through all of your issues and potentially landing on a promotional issue which has the subscription function disabled. If your magazine is distributed freely, don't worry ... this new feature won't effect your digital publication at all. To access this new fe...
